CarburizingCarburizing is a heat treatment process in which carbon is added on the surface of steel .
Carburizing increases strength and wear by the diffusion of the carbon which is followed by the quench.
The conventional process of carburizing creates systematically a layer of oxidizing on the surface of the parts. To cancel the intercristalline oxidizing, ECM TECHNOLOGIES have developed the vacuum carburizing solution and a large range of products such as vacuum furnaces.
ECM Technologies R&D center is engaged in developing new and performed carburizing solutions for any industries: automotive, aeronautics, commercial heat treatment, electronic and photovoltaic.
The Low pressure carburizing solutions have a numerous advantages such as control of surface carbon content, reduce manufacturing cost, and enhance mechanical proprieties, metallurgical capabilities, preserve environment. |
